    The American Civil Liberties Union of Oklahoma is a nonprofit, non-partisan, privately funded organization devoted exclusively to the defense and promotion of individual rights secured by the U.S. and Oklahoma constitutions.

  • Anti-Racism Action & Accountability

    This is a group for accountability for White and Non-Black people on taking anti-racist actions. Black folx is welcome to join! We follow Black Leadership.

    We’re a Tulsa-based investment fund focused on returns, quality job creation, community building, and being helpful.

  • Aware Tulsa

    The local affiliate of the national White anti-racist network Showing up for Racial Justice, which is all volunteer-led at the moment, but whose mission is so critical right now.

  • Black Wall Street Memorial

    A project affiliated with the Equal Justice Initiative's lynching museum (The National Memorial for Peace and Justice) memorializing the victims of the Tulsa Massacre of 1921, led by Dr. Crutcher and housed at Vernon.

  • Block Builderz

    Founded by D'Marria Monday, a formerly incarcerated mother, promoting community-led solutions to address mass incarceration and economic and racial justice from a holistic perspective.

  • CAIR Oklahoma

    The state chapter of the national organization protects the civil liberties of American Muslims.

  • Center for Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation

    TRHT at OSU-Tulsa is part of a nationwide, community-based initiative by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to "plan for and bring about transformational and sustainable change, and to address the historic and contemporary effects of racism."

  • Dream Action OK - Tulsa

    Dream Action Oklahoma is a community-based organization that aims to support the local immigrant community to create social change through advocacy and education. DAOK is an official affiliate of United We Dream.

  • Demanding a JUSTulsa

    A police accountability group that was behind getting last year's City Council meetings on racial disparities in policing.

  • El Centro

    Providing financial, legal, and advocacy assistance to undocumented individuals at jailed at David L Moss because of their immigration status.

  • Fire in Little Africa

    A multimedia hip-hop project commemorating the 1921 massacre getting a ton of national attention. It includes an album, a documentary, a podcast, and a curriculum for educational and corporate environments.

    Focus: Black Oklahoma is a news and public affairs program covering topics relevant to the African American and BIPOC communities statewide. The show seeks to inform the public through stories and interviews, engage the community through lively discussion, and spotlight local artists and creators.

    Founder Onikah Asamoa-Caesar recently made national news for their "Ally Box" for people interested in growing their anti-racism knowledge and skillset. The bookstore has a mission to increase literacy and build community, centering the stories, narratives, and lived experiences of people of color and marginalized communities

  • Greenwood Cultural Center

    GCC pictorial exhibits are one of a kind of Black Wall Street and the 1921 Race Massacre with tours of the Mabel B. Little Heritage House

    The church has had a phenomenal COVID response and is a leading voice for memorializing the massacre.

    Justice for Greenwood is a network of volunteers, advocates, attorneys, academics, experts, Massacre Survivors, Descendants, & others agitating for reparations & justice on behalf of Survivors and Descendants of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.

    Dedicated to promoting everything from live African & Caribbean music to local restaurants, food, and social gatherings.

  • OK Native Alliance Against Violence

    Unify tribal service programs throughout Oklahoma by providing culturally appropriate technical assistance, training, and support to eliminate domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence.

    Inclusive Leadership Collective - develops leaders to create equitable workplaces in our state. Their Advancing Oklahoma initiative promotes pushing conversations on race forward.

    Tulsa is led by Tykebrean Natrail Cheshier and she has been working with our local police to address effective change here in Tulsa.

    An indigenous-led group working to eliminate stereotypical "Indian" mascots in Oklahoma public schools, beginning with a Tulsa-based campaign to change the Union R******s, Central Braves, and Webster Warriors.

  • The Center for Africana Studies

    CAfS serves as a space of intellectual community, and as a primary scholarly resource for OSU students, faculty, staff, and the broader public, in pursuit of knowledge on the Black Diaspora. Their mission is to foster systematic, critical analyses of the multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary realms of the Black experience, centered in the U.S. and inclusive of the global diaspora.

    Provides immersive, historically accurate, and deeply compelling tours of historic Greenwood with a strong analysis of the enduring legacy of the massacre.

  • Tri-City Collective

    Tri-City Collective’s seasoned educators, activists and change leaders are committed to diversity, inclusion, and providing learning and artistic opportunities outside the classroom for youth and adults. This commitment includes the exploration of our history as a state and nation which is at the core of our educational opportunities. These opportunities are executed in many platforms, including but not limited to, radio programming, workshops, art exhibitions, live curated conversations, curriculums, and published written works.

    OkEq seeks equal rights for LGBTQ+ individuals and families through intersectional advocacy, education, programs, alliances, and the operation of the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center. Serving LGBTQ+ Oklahomans and their allies since 1980, Oklahomans for Equality is home to a diverse, vibrant, and engaged community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender persons, knowledgeable staff, and dedicated volunteers.
